- - Lille : go by train : from Calais Frethun Station (located 15 minutes drive from the house), Lille is only 35 minutes away! Good tip for families and small groups : the “billet grand TER” : it costs 7€, is valid for a year, the first traveler pays half price, the second traveler as well and up to 3 other travelers pay only 3€ return. This tariff is valid during all school holiday as well as during week-ends and bank holidays for day return tickets only. Take advantage of this good bargain!
- London : with the Eurostar, London is only 1 hour away from Calais Frethun ! have in mind you need to book your tickets at least 2 months in advance to get good prices.
- Paris : from Calais Frethun station, Paris is only one and a half hour away. Make sure you book your ticket in advance to get bargains.
- Day trip to Bruges : Bruges is only one and a half hour drive away from the house.
- Day trip to England : you can go on the tunnel (eurotunnel) from 60€ day return for a car with up to 5 people in. There are up to 3 departures per hour in peak season. It takes only 35 minutes to cross the Channel.(book your ticket in advance). The house is only 20 minutes drive away from the Eurotunnel terminal.
